Sally Webster, 85, has all the time had a ardour for journey.
She paraglided over Morzine, France, in her mid-60s and was decided to finish the 500ft-high Penrhyn Slate Quarry.
Along along with her daughter, Juliet, and members of the group at her care residence Deewater Grange in Chester, Ms Webster travelled to Gwynedd in north Wales to try the 1.5km zipline.
In no time in any respect, she was having fun with the unimaginable views over Snowdonia at 100mph.
‘Made me really feel alive’
Speaking after the expertise, Ms Webster stated: “Doing the zipline today really made me feel alive.
“I used to be nervous at first however so excited.
“I never thought at my age I’d see myself at the top of Snowdonia – never mind ziplining down it.”
She added: “The better part was attending to do the zipline along with my daughter.
“The drive to the summit was breathtaking, and seeing the mountain ranges and the fresh country air reminded me of where I grew up as a child.
“All I can say is a giant thanks to the group for organising it, and as soon as once more wow.”

The home manager at Deewater Grange, Sally Cooper, added: “Here at Deewater Grange, no want is simply too massive or too small and so when Sally stated she needed to finish the world’s quickest zipline, we knew we needed to make her daring dream a actuality.
