Foreign Ministry Warns of Targeted Threats
According to international ministry assertion, “Threats have particularly targeted Indian diplomats and sections of the Indian community who oppose the anti-India agenda,”, advising residents to “avoid travelling to regions and potential venues in Canada that have seen such incidents”. This comes after Canada expelled a senior Indian diplomat on allegations that the Indian authorities could have been concerned within the killing of the pro-Khalistan chief. India retaliated by expelling a prime Canadian diplomat from Delhi in a gesture often known as “tit-for-tat.”
