The Glastonbury ticket sale has been delayed by two weeks.
“This is to ensure that everyone who would like to buy a ticket is registered and therefore eligible to purchase one,” competition organisers stated.
“Unfortunately, it has come to light that some individuals hoping to buy tickets for 2024 have discovered after Monday’s registration deadline that they are no longer registered, despite believing they were.
“Out of equity to these people, we might be re-opening the window for registration at 12 midday on Monday, sixth November. It will stay open till 5pm on Monday, thirteenth November.”
The announcement got here simply hours earlier than the primary batch of tickets for the 2024 competition had been as a consequence of go on sale at 6pm on Thursday.
Glastonbury apologised for the late change.
Tickets for the coveted competition held in Worthy Farm in Somerset value £355 (plus a £5 reserving price), £20 greater than this yr’s occasion that came about in June.
Next yr’s iconic music spectacle will run from 26 -30 June 2024, although the line-up is but to be introduced.
This yr, the world-famous Pyramid Stage welcomed rock bands Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses, as Sir Elton John headlined the ultimate day.
Other well-known names included Royal Blood, Lil Nas X, Queens of the Stone Age, Lana Del Rey and Fatboy Slim.
