A fourth individual has been charged with homicide following the dying of a person in a suspected ammonia assault, police have mentioned.
Andy Foster, 26, was injured within the alleged incident when he opened the door at an handle in Eighton Terrace in Wrekenton, Gateshead, on 20 August.
He later died in hospital.
Three males have already been charged with homicide and remanded in custody.
Officers made two additional arrests on Friday and, on Saturday, charged Yousef Wynne, 39, of Wuppertal Court, Jarrow, with Mr Foster’s homicide.
He has been remanded in custody and is because of seem earlier than South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 November.
A 24-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of aiding an offender has been launched on bail.
