The Kathmandu district administration said in a statement that from Monday it would lift restrictions on road traffic, under which vehicles were allowed to ply on an is-topic basis, except for one day. From next week onwards, classes will be allowed to be held in schools and colleges, the statement said. Cinemas, gyms and other public places, which were closed since last month, will also be allowed to open and operate normally. Sports venues and stadiums will be allowed to open with half the spectators capacity. People will have to carry their vaccination certificate at all times and follow the rule of maintaining social distance.
