A girl has been arrested after a video was posted on-line exhibiting human faeces being poured on to a memorial for Captain Sir Tom Moore.
The concentrating on of the life-sized memorial of Sir Tom in Thistley Meadow, Derbyshire, attracted condemnation on-line.
Austin Cox, whose agency AGC Fabrications gifted the memorial to Thistley Meadow, mentioned he can be working with the police after the alleged vandalism on Friday.
A spokesperson for Met Police mentioned: “A woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage on behalf on Derbyshire Constabulary, following an incident in Hatton on 1 October.”
The lady within the video was carrying a T-shirt saying “End UK Private Jets”, and claimed each time one takes off within the UK, “it pours a bucket of s*** and blood on to everything that Captain Tom stood for”.
The memorial of Sir Tom has been focused earlier than. Late final 12 months, “IRA” was spray-painted on to the sculpture.
