Condolences have been paid to the household and associates of a bus driver who died 5 days after being concerned in a crash with a van in East Ayrshire.
Gordon Stirling, 23, was left preventing for his life following the collision on the A77 on Monday 14 August.
Mr Stirling, from the Crosshouse space, died on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) in Glasgow on Saturday.
The 42-year-old male driver of the white Ford Transit van is in a “serious but stable” situation on the QEUH, stated Police Scotland.
Two passengers on the Stagecoach single decker bus, a 68-year-old lady and a 19-year-old man, had been additionally taken to hospital as a precaution and had been later discharged.
