Police have eliminated various our bodies from a funeral director in northern England after issues had been raised about “storage and management processes relating to care of the deceased”.
Three branches of Legacy Independent Funeral Directors had been raided throughout Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire after the issues had been reported on Wednesday.
Assistant Chief Constable Thom McLoughlin of Humberside Police stated officers had been shifting our bodies from the corporate’s department on Hessle Road in Hull to the native authority’s mortuary.
Police stay on the enterprise’s three branches – two in Hull and one in Beverley.
ACC McLoughlin stated detectives had been working with native authorities and the coroner to “fully understand the circumstances and concerns expressed in the report made to us”.

“We have already received a number of calls from concerned members of the public and I want to offer my personal reassurance that we are working as hard as possible to make direct contact with each and every family that may have been affected by the concerns reported,” he added.
He stated the investigation was “very complex, with heartbroken and devastated families at the core of it”, including: “We are determined to make sure that we keep the families involved at the heart of everything we are doing.”
Police have requested those that have issues to get in contact.
