Bridgestone India has signed an MoU with Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) to increase their flagship CSR initiative Sarthi.
The programme is aligned to Bridgestone’s dedication in the direction of Safe and Sustainable Mobility. Under this system, 695 youths from marginalized sections have been educated and positioned as expert heavy motorcar drivers, largely from under-represented areas of Maharashtra. Under the brand new MoU, Sarthi will now be prolonged to South and East India and Bridgestone intends to impart coaching to round 640 youth together with 100 girls within the present monetary yr.
The MoU was signed by Apurv Choubey, Chief Human Resource Officer Bridgestone India and Mr. Arindam Lahiri, Chief Executive Officer, ASDC.
In addition to coaching on Driving Skills, this programme contains classes on finance administration, delicate abilities, gender sensitization and bodily wellbeing as effectively.

As a part of this collaboration, Project Sarthi will avail the providers of the Institute of Driving Training and Research – Pune, Society For Govt. of Odisha – Ashok Leyland HMV Driver Training Institute Odisha and theTelangana Institute of Driving Education and Skills (TIDES), Telangana.
