Aston Villa’s workforce bus has been attacked after their Premier League match in opposition to Burnley.
The incident happened at junction 10 on the M65 motorway following the sport at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon, police mentioned.
Burnley Football Club mentioned they had been “saddened and dismayed” to be taught in regards to the assault.
“Having spoken with Villa we are relieved to hear nobody was hurt in the incident,” the membership added.
“We strongly condemn this behaviour and will support Lancashire Police in their efforts to find whoever was responsible.”
Lancashire Police mentioned a brick was thrown on the bus which struck the windscreen and precipitated some injury to the car.

Supt Melita Worswick mentioned: “It is nothing but good fortune that the brick didn’t cause more damage, or result in somebody being seriously injured or even killed.
“We can’t say at this level whether or not this was a focused assault however enquiries are ongoing and this may kind a part of our investigation.”
Villa beat Burnley 3-1 within the match after two objectives within the first half by defender Matty Cash, and one other within the second by Moussa Diaby.
The end result marks Burnley’s second defeat since their return to the highest flight.
Aston Villa declined to touch upon the assault on their bus.
