Five families are forced to live inside a house in the capital Kabul (Violence Conflict Afghanistan). These people have escaped from Kundj located in the Northern Province. These people say that they are in urgent need of humanitarian aid.
Jiba, a resident of Kundj, says she has lost many of her children over the years due to fighting. And this is the fourth time this is happening to them, when they have to be displaced due to conflict. She says, ‘We have never seen a single day of happiness. We have only seen clashes and violence. Mohammad Hassan, who became a victim of displacement, says that his house was completely destroyed in the fighting and this happened when he left his house (People Displaced in Afghanistan). Mohammad Hassan said, ‘We are stranded on both sides. Taliban is firing from one side and government security forces are firing from the other side.
Fear of future haunting people
The displaced children are also scared on the occasion of Eid. Sona, another displaced woman, says, ‘What will be our future if peace does not return? This question is for everyone. What will be our future? You can achieve anything only if you are educated (Afghanistan Violence). What will you do if you are not educated?’ “We don’t know when Eid is and when it is a normal day,” says another citizen named Mahfooza.
2 lakh 70 thousand people left home
The United Nations (UN on Afghanistan) says that 2 lakh 70 thousand people have had to leave their homes in recent months due to violence. This has been seen especially in the northern part of the country. Significantly, after 20 years, foreign troops are withdrawing from Afghanistan, after which the Taliban have claimed to have captured about 85 percent of the country, increasing their strength. His eyes are now also on the capital Kabul to overthrow the government completely. The Afghan government says it will confront the Taliban until it realizes that talks are the only way to peace.
