Company will launch affordable 5G phone in India
According to OnePlus, the sale of OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone will start in India, Europe and North America by the end of this month. The company said that this smartphone earned more than CNY 100 million (about Rs 120 crore) during the open sale in China. OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in China in January. OnePlus has said that it will launch its most affordable 5G smartphone in India and Europe later this year. The company said that it will also bring a retail model in India. It will be ordered online, but to get it, one has to go to the retail store, where the store member will set up the phone.
Smartphone with 150W SuperVOOC fast charging will also be launched
OnePlus has said that it will launch a new smartphone in the second quarter of this year. It will support 150W SuperVOOC fast charging. This technology has been developed by Oppo Research Institute. It is claimed that it can charge the 4,500mAh battery from 1 percent to 50 percent in 5 minutes.
OxygenOS will remain an independent property
OnePlus has revealed that its OxygenOS 13 will remain an independent brand property when Android 13 arrives. According to the company, the decision to retain OxygenOS on OnePlus devices has been taken after the feedback received from the community. However, both OxygenOS and ColorOS will be developed on the same codebase as announced earlier.
Oppo shows 240W charging technology, battery will be full in 9 minutes
OnePlus’ sister-brand Oppo also showcased 150W SuperVOOC charging technology. It is planned to bring it to the upcoming Oppo flagship phone. The company also provided a demo of 240W SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology. Oppo claims that this can charge a 4,500mAh battery from 1 percent to 100 percent in about 9 minutes. However, the company did not say when and in which device the 240W charging technology will be offered.
