West Indies’ league stage matches are over and they are in third place with seven points from seven matches.
Wellington, South Africa vs West Indies on Thursday secured their place in the semi-finals of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 after the league stage match against West Indies was canceled due to rain. South Africa and West Indies got one point each due to the cancellation of the match. This took South Africa to nine points from six matches and became the second team after Australia to reach the semi-finals.
West Indies’ league stage matches are over and they are in third place with seven points from seven matches. Only 10.5 overs could be played in the match. When South Africa scored 61 for four after being invited to bat first, the game had to be stopped due to rain and no further play could be played thereafter.
