Amit, who was unsold in IPL Mega Auction-2022, has a special record in IPL. He has taken a hat-trick 3 times in his IPL career. He took the first hat-trick playing for Delhi Daredevils against Deccan Chargers in IPL 2008 (Delhi Daredevils vs Deccan Chargers). The second hat-trick was taken against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP vs Deccan Chargers) in IPL 2011 while bowling for Deccan Chargers. His third hat-trick was against Pune Warriors vs Sunrisers Hyderabad SRH in IPL 2013.
Yuvraj Singh
The former Jigarbaaz all-rounder of Team India is well remembered for his explosive batting. But, many times he has turned the tide of the match with his spin bowling. Yuvraj Singh had scored a hat-trick twice in IPL 2009. Playing for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), he took the first hat-trick in the match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The second time was taken against Deccan Chargers. Records show that Sixer King Yuvraj Singh took 36 wickets with his spin balls in a total of 132 matches played in IPL career.
Rohit Sharma
The most successful captain of IPL, Rohit Sharma has made his team Mumbai Indians champion 5 times. He is well known for his fiery batting. But, perhaps very few people would know that he has also taken a hat-trick while bowling in a season of IPL. The interesting thing is that he took a hat-trick against the same team that he is the captain of today. At that time Rohit Sharma was playing for the team of Deccan Chargers. IPL records show that Rohit Sharma has also got 15 wickets in IPL.
