Now only 10 days are left for the start of IPL 2022. The BCCI has also announced an action plan against a team member or relative who breaks the bio-bubble during the tournament. According to the news, in IPL 2022, players, their relatives, team officials, team members etc., have been published a notice for all to be punished for violating the provision of bio-bubble.
Let us remind you that in the IPL 2021 season, after 29 matches in India, the tournament had to be stopped there due to sudden corona infection. During that time many team support staff and players turned out to be Corona positive. A few months later, the second phase of IPL 2021 was held in the UAE in September-October. But, this time BCCI is in a very strict mood from the point of view of security.
This is the special reason that the league stage matches of the upcoming season of IPL 2022 will be played only in Mumbai and Pune. So that, players do not have to travel much from one city to another. There will be 70 matches in the league stage of IPL 2022, out of which 55 will be played in Mumbai and 15 matches will be played in Pune. 20-20 matches will be played at Wankhede in Mumbai and DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Apart from this, 15 matches will be played at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and 15 matches will be played at MCA Stadium in Pune.
