Ed Sheeran was a part of the star-studded leisure assembled for Robert Kraft’s shock marriage ceremony to ophthalmologist Dr. Dana Blemberg on October 14th.
The singer/songwriter was on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up and naturally was requested about his function within the Patriot proprietor’s marriage ceremony, and what he sang through the after-party.
Along with singing a duet with Elton John on “Candle in the Wind” Sheeran sang an acoustic model of his 2017 hit “Perfect” for the couple’s first dance.
Sheeran mentioned it was the primary time he had carried out the favored tune at a marriage.
“‘Perfect’ is the one that everyone always wants for their first dance, but I’d never done it before,” Sheeran admitted. “That was my first time doing it. So, I’m sort of looking at them dancing, and I’m like, ‘Ah, this is the first time I’ve actually done this for the first dance.’ It’s mad because you would just assume that I’ve done it lots of times. I just haven’t.”
Kraft had a star-studded visitor checklist for the after-party which included many previous and current Patriots together with Tom Brady, Richard Seymour, Ty Law and Troy Brown.
Sheeran doesn’t usually carry out at weddings however the star defined why this one labored out.
“I don’t really play a lot of weddings, because I’m always either playing a gig on a Saturday or I’m with my family on a Saturday,” he mentioned, “but (Kraft’s) was on a Friday night.”
