Millions of cricket lovers are eagerly waiting for IPL 2022. But this time BCCI is very excited about the new season. BCCI will earn more than Rs 800 crore from IPL sponsors in IPL season-15. And, this will be the biggest ever revenue in the history of IPL. Apart from TATA this year, BCCI has signed a deal with two new co-sponsors for IPL 2022.
The IPL Governing Council (IPL GC) recently announced a deal with RuPay and Swiggy Instamart as the new center sponsors of IPL 2022. BCCI now has 9 top brands for IPL 2022.
According to the latest news, a contract worth Rs 42 crore has been signed with RuPay and Rs 44 crore per annum with Swiggy Instamart. BCCI secretary Jay Shah said, “It clearly states the cost of IPL. We are happy to have new sponsors. I would not like to comment on the numbers. But, this year IPL sponsorship will be the highest revenue we have ever seen.”

This is how BCCI will earn 800 crores
In IPL 2022, so much income is coming from two sides. First, there has been an increase in the number of sponsors for the 15th season of the IPL. Second, IPL 2022 is sponsoring TATA Group for the first time. Tata Group is the title sponsor of IPL. Although TATA Group has given less than Rs 335 crore, but despite this, this new contract of BCCI will earn more.

VIVO Deal: Rs 440 crore per season
TATA MOTORS: Offers 335 cr per season
Loss per season: Rs 105 crore
Total loss in season 2: Rs 210 crore
Sources reveal that the new contracts deal has been transferred in such a way that VIVO will bear all the losses. BCCI will not only get the contracted amount from VIVO, but will also earn pro-rata payment for the increase in the number of matches for IPL 2022 and IPL 2023. VIVO had agreed to pay Rs 484 crore for IPL 2022 and Rs 512 crore for IPL 2023 due to the increase in the number of matches during the coming two IPL seasons.
For the first time, BCCI has filled all the 6 IPL official partner slots.
Swiggy, Instamart and RuPay are the two new sponsors of IPL, who will pay Rs 42 to 44 crores to BCCI.
The BCCI will deposit an additional Rs 500 crore in the title sponsorship slot of the IPL in the BCCI treasury.
PAYTM will continue as the official partner and CEAT as the Strategic Timeout Partner.
