Lucknow: Stamping on good governance, security, self-reliance, women have given their blessings to the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh. The women of rural and urban areas gave their valuable vote to nationalism, rejecting the politics of the family party. The Yogi government, while giving a lot of facilities to the women of the state during its last five years, on one hand, took the daughters forward in the field of education and on the other hand worked to put the reins of self-employment in the hands of women.
For the last five years, the BJP, which has been raising the voice of women’s safety, respect and self-reliance, has given priority to the schemes related to women in the resolution for the upliftment of women and daughters of the state.
Financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for the marriage of daughters
In the resolution letter also announced to increase the amount of Golden Schemes implemented for women and daughters. Under which the amount of 15 thousand given under the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana will be increased to 25 thousand, the amount of widow and destitute women pension scheme will be increased to 1500 rupees per month. Along with this, financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for the marriage of daughters of poor families, one crore women will be given a loan at a minimum rate of up to Rs 1 lakh under the Chief Minister’s mass marriage scheme.

Number of women in government jobs will double
Apart from doubling the number of women in all government jobs including Public Service Commission (UPPSC) in the state, expansion of the network of three new women battalions, Mission Pink toilets will be set up at a cost of 1000 crores. Along with starting the State Talent Search and Development Scheme for women players of UP with a cost of 500 crores, financial assistance up to 5 lakh will be provided to the selected women athletes.
Government is committed to women’s safety and self-reliance
3,000 Pink Police booths will be set up in the state along with CCTV cameras near public places and educational institutions. About 1 crore women working in self-help groups will be provided loans up to 1 lakh at the lowest rate through self-reliant SHG credit cards. Anganwadi workers and health sakhis will be given health insurance under Ayushman Bharat, on a mission mode.
