Finance Minister announced
Let us tell you that the Finance Minister of the state Palanivel Thiagarajan has announced this on Friday, tomorrow i.e. on March 18, 2022, the special festival of Holi. 1000 will be deposited in the bank accounts of girl students enrolled in government schools. According to the state government, around 6 lakh students will be benefited by this scheme. A total outlay of Rs 698 crore has been given for this scheme. This is also being done to tackle the issue of low enrollment ratio of girls in government schools in higher education. Under this scheme girls will be helped to get higher education.

Tamil Nadu FM Rajan announced that the earlier scheme named “Movalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Memorial Marriage Assistance Scheme” is being adapted and will now be called “Movalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme”. According to a Tamil Nadu government statement, all girl students of classes 6 to 12 in government schools will be given Rs 1,000 in their bank accounts till the uninterrupted completion of their bachelor’s degree, diploma and ITI courses.
