Original: A woman who was plucking lakhodi in the field was attacked by a tiger from behind and dragged her for 50 meters. In which Dnyaneshwari Vasudev Mohurle (55) has died. This incident took place near Kosambi village of Tehsil at 4 pm on Friday.
At a distance of 4 km from the origin, the farm of a woman farmer resident of Kosambi is at a distance of one km from the village on the road leading to the cremation ground. Today she was harvesting lakhodi dal in the field when the tiger attacked her from behind. Sarpanch Ravindra Kamde, Police Patil Archana Mohurle, Sarika Gedam and villagers reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was known to the residents of Kosambi.
As soon as the information was received, the original police station officer, Satish Singh Rajput reached with his team. Forest Division Officer Priyanka Velme, Field Assistant Prashant Khanke, Forest Guard Rakesh Gurnule, Forest Guard Merskolhe reached the spot immediately. The police made the Panchnama of the dead body and sent it to the original hospital for post-mortem.
On behalf of the Forest Department, Forest Circle Officer Priyanka Velme has given immediate assistance of Rs 50,000 to the relatives of the deceased. Priyanka Velme, SHO Satish Singh Rajput along with their associates is investigating the matter on behalf of the Forest Department.
