Decision had to be changed due to opposition from BJP corporators
The BJP corporators strongly opposed the proposal to build a switching station at the site of the Hindu cemetery land located at the local camp number 5. When this issue came to the table, the ruling party supported its construction, stating the importance of the switching station. But BJP’s Pradeep Ramchandani, Rajesh Wadharia, Kishor Banwari etc. started protesting online, but due to technical mistake, the ruling party should not pass this topic, so BJP corporators reached the main gate in the auditorium and there also announced fiercely. Of. Citing the growing opposition and religious sentiments of the people, the matter was adjourned for the time being and a decision was taken to take a decision on this issue in the next meeting. In the general meeting, Shiv Sena’s Dhananjay Bodare opposed the approval of the proposal to give 1 rupee on rent to the schools number 19 and 27 under the Municipal Corporation, which were of Sindhi medium, while the city’s various markets and roadside vehicles were allowed to be rented. Now parking charges will have to be paid for parking. This motion has also been approved by the House.
There is no opposition to the BJP to build an electricity switching station. This must be done in any case. BJP’s opposition is that instead of Hindu shaman land, it should be made elsewhere. The BJP has also shown 7 to 8 places to the municipal administration in its option. The faith and religious sentiments of lakhs of Sindhi Hindus are attached to the said shaman land.

The Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation should make a parking spot in the city and it would be fair to charge a fee for parking there. There is no point in charging parking fee from the vehicles parked in front of the shops. UTA will oppose any such charges.
