Ukraine: Russia is intensifying its attack on its neighboring country Ukraine day by day. There has also been a very shocking news that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was attacked at least three times last week, from which he survived.
According to a report in the Times of London, the efforts were foiled after anti-war Russians briefed authorities in Ukraine about two separate hired groups of the Kremlin-backed Wagner Group and the Chechen Special Forces, who had planned to launch the attacks.
The Times quoted Ukraine’s national security and defense secretary as saying, “I can say that we [रूस की संघीय सुरक्षा सेवा] Information has been received from those who do not want to take part in this bloody war.”
Reportedly, 400 members of the Wagner Group are still in Kyiv and are aiming to kill 24 officials in the Ukrainian government. The 44-year-old president also survived an assassination attempt on Saturday on the outskirts of the country’s capital, Kyiv, when a group of Chechen assassins were captured before they could reach him.
Meanwhile, senior US Senator Lindsey Graham told Fox News TV host Sean Hannity, “How does this end? Somebody in Russia has to step up to the plate and get this guy out.” He later reiterated the same point in several tweets. “Is Brutus in Russia?” Asked the senator, referring to one of the assassins of the Roman ruler Julius Caesar.
Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday accused Russia of trying to “erase” Ukrainians, their country and their history.
In a video message, the Ukrainian leader said the missile attack on a target at the site of a Holocaust massacre showed that “our Kyiv is completely foreign to many in Russia.”
Tuesday night’s attack damaged Kyiv’s main television mast, which was built in Babi Yar, the site of the largest World War II slaughter of Kyiv Jews, and a memorial and shrine.
