Poland Plans to Give Pensions For Dogs Horses: In almost every country of the world, animals like dogs and horses also contribute to the service of the nation. These animals locate people buried under the debris when the building collapses, help in finding the fugitives, help in cases involving drugs and explosives and also help control the nuisance crowd (Pension For Dogs). and Horses). Instead of doing so much, they only get space to eat and live. But after retiring, all these also get snatched from them. The government also stops taking care of them. But the European country Poland is now finding a solution to this problem.
Poland plans to pension its dogs and horses retiring from the police, border guards and fire brigade services so that those serving the country can receive social security even after service (Poland Plans to Give Pensions For Dogs Horses) . Yet the serving dogs and horses stop receiving government care after retirement and are handed over to NGOs or people who want to adopt them.
Scheme for giving pension after retirement
Now on the appeal of members of the security forces/police, the Ministry of Home Affairs (Poland Government) has proposed a new law, under which there is a plan to give these dogs and horses official status and pension after retirement so that their new owners take care of them. But do not be bothered about the hefty expenses. Home Minister Morris Cumminski has called the draft of the proposed law a moral responsibility, which should get a consensus from the Parliament. This bill will be introduced in Parliament at the end of the year. He said that if more than one person has been rescued, more than one dangerous criminal has also been caught, then thank the animals working for this service.
1200 dogs will benefit
This new law will benefit about 1200 dogs and more than 60 horses currently serving (Dogs and Horses in State Employment). According to the government, about 10 percent of the animals retire every year. Dogs are mostly German and Belgian Shepherds. Warsaw Police Sniffer Dog Orbita handler Pavel Kuchnio said that retiring dogs almost require expensive medical care. Kuchnio said that these pension funds will help a lot and things will be easier.
