Nagpur. In different areas, thieves broke into 4 places and cleaned their hands on cash and jewelry. The first incident took place in Beltarodi police station area. The police registered a case on the complaint of Abhishek Laxman Naidu (28), a resident of Atmiya Apartment, Meshram Layout. Abhishek had gone to the marriage ceremony organized at Vindyavasini lawn of Besa by locking the house at 6.30 pm. Meanwhile, the thieves entered inside by breaking the back door of the house. From the bedroom almirah of the first floor, Rs 15,000 in cash and Rs 95,000 including gold and silver jewelry were cleared.
The second incident took place in the New Snehnagar complex under Rana Pratapnagar police station. The police registered a case on the complaint of Akshay Phoolchand Khandekar (36). Akshay’s Nera Group of Construction has its office in Universe Meadows, New Snehnagar. Between 5 and 7 February, an unknown accused stole goods worth Rs 1.61 lakh by breaking the lock of the office. Meanwhile, Rs 3,000 in cash was also stolen from the office of Vikas Sridharrao Mandarkar, located adjacent. The third incident of theft took place in Hanumannagar premises under Ajni police station.
The police have registered a case on the complaint of Rajeshkumar Gurudas Ohri (66). Due to ill health, Rajesh and his wife went to the hospital in Dhantoli after locking the house. The thieves stole Rs 25,000 in cash and Rs 1.89 lakh including gold and silver jewelery from the almirah by breaking the door latch. The theft was discovered when Rajesh returned home on Saturday night. Police have started investigation by registering a case against unknown accused.
