New Delhi/Lucknow. A video of abominable police brutality in the Kanpur countryside of Uttar Pradesh is now going viral. In which the police fiercely lathi-charged a person carrying an innocent child in his lap. However, the youth is also being told by the police as a criminal. The incident took place in front of the district hospital in Akbarpur area of Kanpur countryside. Here the policemen not only attacked with sticks, but also tried to snatch his innocent child.

However, on this the police claim that this person had bitten on the hand of an inspector. After the video went viral, senior police officers have said that action will be taken against all the culprits.

If you look at the video, the young man can be clearly heard saying, “Bachcha ko lagga jayegi (the child will get hurt)”. At the same time, the policemen chase him and chase him away and some officers even try to forcefully drag the child away from him. During this, the young man is heard saying that this is his child and not even his mother. Police told on this matter that the youth is an employee of the district hospital in Akbarpur in Kanpur countryside and his brother is wanted “regular nuisance”.

Giving information on this matter, Additional Superintendent of Police, Kanpur Dehat, Ghanshyam Chaurasia said, “Some people were creating chaos in this area, they were closing the OPD of the hospital and were also scaring the patients. We just used mild force to stop them. In this case, a senior police officer Arun Kumar Singh admitted that excessive force was used on the youth. However, he later said that the man was also trying to stop the construction work in the hospital. When the police tried their best to intervene and stop him, he had cut off the hand of a police inspector.
