- Fear of lockdown started haunting Omicron
Nagpur. ST workers who have been on strike for the last 50 days are slowly returning to their jobs. The reason for this is being told due to family pressure and fear of lockdown due to Omicron virus. On Friday, 4 employees returned to the job. 63 employees have returned in the last 18 days. After this 17 employees were shifted to Imamwada depot. Due to which their number has now increased to 50. The continuous action being taken by the ST Mahamandal is now a matter of discussion among the employees as well.
The time of highest examination has come for the leaders of the employee organization. They will have to detain the workers to carry out the strike. But the workers have been distracted by the financial crisis of the house and the circumstances of the lockdown due to Corona. Although the employees unions are also trying to convince them, but now the workers do not see the strike as a profitable deal. Due to this, gradually the number of employees coming to the job is increasing. Here ST Mahamandal is also welcoming the employees who have returned to the job with warm enthusiasm. He is describing the decision of the employees as positive. Along with this, he is also talking about returning back to other employees so that he does not have to take action against anyone.
2,950 passengers traveled
On Friday, 2,950 passengers traveled in 28 ST buses. In these Ganeshpeth-07, Imamwada- 6 Ghatrod-2, Umred- 4 Savner-4 Vardhman-3, Ramtek-1, Katol-1 buses were run. These buses covered 6,427.6 kms in 28 ferries. Passengers say that now gradually the system is coming back on track. Because on Friday, for the first time after two months, 28 number of buses were run. Now gradually the number of employees returning to the job can also increase. ST Mahamandal says that in the coming time also the employees will continue to return to their jobs.
