Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Special Inspector General of Aurangabad Range Mallikarjun Prasanna said that in order to optimize the existing police force and focus on the main duties and responsibilities of the police force, the normal duties of police constables at the police station level have been abolished. Is. Prasanna ordered the officers working under him that police constables to assistant sub-inspectors of police (ASI) should not be given more than 30 investigation cases in a year. Apart from this, policemen are being rewarded for all these works from tracing the case to filing charge sheet, locating the missing person, returning the confiscated items to the complainant.

Prasanna said that if it is found that he has completed the investigation of 30 cases and filed the charge sheet within the stipulated month, then he will not be burdened with new cases. These decisions have been implemented in Aurangabad Rural, Beed, Osmanabad and Jalna districts of Aurangabad range.
