Relief to FUTURE GROUP from Delhi HC
FUTURE GROUP has got relief from the Division Bench of Delhi High Court. The ongoing arbitration between Amazon and FUTURE GROUP in Singapore has been put on hold until further orders. The next hearing of the case will be on February 1. A division bench of the Delhi High Court on Wednesday stayed Amazon’s arbitration proceedings against Future Group at the Singapore Tribunal. A day earlier, a single bench of the Delhi High Court had dismissed the petitions of Future Group seeking quashing of the ongoing arbitration proceedings with Amazon in Singapore.
The Future Group then challenged the decision of the Single Bench of the High Court before the Division Bench. At the same time, Future Group has demanded that the arbitration proceedings initiated by Amazon at the International Arbitration Center in Singapore be ordered to be stayed or declared illegal.
