The MSPCA’s Nevins Farm in Methuen is now house to 18 rescued horses.
An animal cruelty investigation out of Alford stays open, however the animals at the moment are being cared for in trailers on the farm.
“Before the horses even arrived … we had spent some $20,000 on supplies and equipment needed for all the animals in our care. We’re in urgent need of donations,” stated Mike Keiley, director of adoption facilities and applications on the MSPCA-Angell.
Anyone who needs to donate can achieve this at mspca.org/alford.
