Lucknow The Samajwadi Party, which is trying to give a tough competition to the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, has got a big success. Some prominent leaders of the BSP and other parties, including the sitting MLA of the ruling BJP, on Monday joined the Samajwadi Party in the presence of former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Madhuri Verma, the current BJP MLA from Bahraich, has joined the SP, while the father of Bahujan Samaj Party MP Ritesh Pandey and former MP Rakesh Pandey along with dozens of supporters announced to join the SP. Apart from this, former Legislative Council member Kanti Singh and former MLA of Pratapgarh district Brijesh Mishra Saurabh have also joined the SP on Monday.
Along with BSP leader Syeda Fatma from Dumariaganj, former MP Shankhlal Manjhi has also joined the SP in the presence of Akhilesh. On the other hand, Apna Dal MLA Dr. R.K. Verma has been suspended from the party. Verma is currently the MLA from Vishwanathganj in Pratapgarh.
More hooliganism in BJP government: Omprakash Rajbhar
Suheldev Rajbhar Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhasp) President Omprakash Rajbhar was also present along with Akhilesh Yadav on the occasion of all the big leaders joining the SP. On this occasion Omprakash Rajbhar said that earlier all the people used to say that they spin like jalebi but I had said three years ago that we will remove BJP. Pointing to Akhilesh Yadav, he said that the future Chief Minister is next and will sit together even if the government is formed. He said that there is more hooliganism in the BJP government than in the SP and anyone can see it. Rajbhar said that in this oath ceremony in 2022, I will remind again that I had talked about removing BJP.

At the same time, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that if the government is formed, the martyr farmers will get Rs 25 lakh each.
