The Indian cricket team is going to travel to South Africa this month for a bilateral series. In which first a 3-match test series will be played between the two countries. The first match of Test cricket will be held at Centurion’s SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium from December 26 to December 30. Red Ball Cricket i.e. Test team will be captained by India’s handsome captain Virat Kohli and White Ball Cricket i.e. Limited Over Cricket (ODI T20) Team India will be commanded by Rohit Sharma (Rohit Sharma Captain Team India). Will be The ODI series will also be of 3 matches.
According to reports, the entire Team India has entered a mandatory 3-day quarantine in a star hotel in Mumbai before leaving for South Africa as part of the COVID-19 protocol. After this, Virat’s army, going to play the Test team, has to travel on a special chartered plane to Johannesburg on 16 December.
Significantly, all the members of the team going to South Africa have to stay there in a safe bio-bubble till January 15. Remind you that the last and third test match of the three-match Test series in the bilateral series between the two countries will be played from January 11 to January 15 at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. After the end of the Test series, the players of the Test team will return to India. And, the players who will play in the ODI series will play in the same bio-bubble.
It is worth noting that the first match of the ODI series between India and South Africa (India vs South Africa ODI Series, 2022) will be played on January 19, and the last match will be played on January 23. In the meantime, all the team members present in the Biobubble will have to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol. According to reports, all the members of the team going to South Africa will have to stay in Biobubble for a total of 43 days.
