Shark Tank India: The new reality show Shark Tank India has impressed the entire nation with its concept to turn the dreams of a new businessman into reality. It has opened the door for many new businessmen to fulfill their dreams. This program is giving a new platform to bring new thinking and products to the fore. It represents the ‘New Thinking of Changing India’.
New businessmen put the business idea in front of the judges. The show has a 7-member jury comprising Ashneer Grover, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Piyush Bansal, Vinita Singh, Ghazal Alagh and Anupam Mittal, who have to influence new businessmen to get investments. Pitchers have to impress. All the judges of Shark Tank India are highly educated with assets worth crores. Let’s know about their educational qualification.
1. Ashneer Grover
Ashneer Grover, managing director and co-founder of BharatPe, is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Also an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. Ashneer Grover was selected as an exchange student for INSA Lyon during his graduation days and went to INSA-Lyon University France during 2002-2003 for the programme.
2. Namita Thapar
Pune-born Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, did her schooling in a city school. He later graduated from ICAI with a degree in Chartered Accountant. Namita then did her MBA and earned a degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
3 Aman Gupta
Aman Gupta, co-founder and CMO of BoAt, who studied at Delhi Public School RK Puram, later attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to pursue his CA. He has an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business. His second MBA is from Kellogg Graduate School of Management USA. He has done MBA in Management and Marketing here.
4. Vinita Singh
Vinita Singh, Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, has studied Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
Ghazal Alagh, co-founder and head of cosmetic brand Mammaearth, has done BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) from Panjab University.
6. Anupam Mittal
Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of People Group, is a post graduate from Boston University. He also holds an MBA degree in Operations Operations and Strategic Management.
7. Piyush Bansal
Piyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart, holds a degree in electrical engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He also holds an IIM Post Graduate degree.
