Chandrapur, In collaboration with the Joint Forest Management Committee, safari tourism for tourists in the forest area has been done by cutting lace at the hands of senior citizen of the village Pandurang Madavi in the Karwa of Ballarshah forest area. This tourism has been started in the regional forest department. Safari tourism has been started with the aim of building up the faith of wild animals in the public through tourism and making forest management possible with public cooperation.
Tourists who went to Raut this morning are very excited to see the tiger on the very first day and this has been expressed by Ballarpur Forest Range Officer Santosh Thipe instead of better response to the area.
Karwa is a tribal dominated village under the Central Chanda Forest Department. Nestled in the middle of lush green forest, there are 200 types of birds including tiger, leopard, wild buffalo, bear, wild cat, deer, chital, sambar, nilgai, barasinga, wild dog and various colorful butterflies. In view of this, with the cooperation of the villagers, a proposal was passed to establish forest wildlife symbiosis, to establish human-wildlife symbiosis, to provide employment opportunities by protecting forests.
Routes have been prepared for tourists using 50 km old bullock cart and well route. Route Nets for Tourists Room No. 500, 495, 496 ,497, 498, 513, 515, 511, 510, 509, 499 have been prepared back to Karva Roopvatika. Guarded training has been given to the youth of the village, due to which they have got employment. RFO Thipe has appealed to the tourists to enjoy the safari
