Along with this, the new variant Omicron has also started showing its orgy. Amidst all this, the figures that have come out from Corona’s capital Delhi and Mumbai after six months are frightening. Also, the reason for the biggest concern is that there has been an increase in the reproduction of corona in many states. The question is arising whether the third wave of Corona is going to come in the country.

The situation is not good in the capital Delhi due to Corona. On Sunday, 290 corona-infected cases have been registered here. Earlier, there were 249 case reports on Saturday, which was the highest since June 13. Talking about Mumbai, 922 new cases of COVID have been registered here. This is the highest number that came after seven months. There is also a reason for concern that the positivity rate in Mumbai is also 2.64 percent. The number of active cases in the financial capital has crossed four thousand.
It is noteworthy that the biggest reason for concern about the third wave of Corona is the continuous increase in the ‘R’ number i.e. reproduction. This is the factor that shows how fast COVID is spreading its feet. In many states of the country, R is beyond number one.
Actually, due to this number being more than one, the risk of rapid spread of COVID remains high. On the third wave of Corona, IIT Kanpur says that it can come in the last week of January or the first week of February.
