Mumbai: The Maharashtra government on Monday further relaxed the restrictions in view of the reduction in corona virus cases in the state, now swimming pool, amusement or water park. And spas have been allowed to open with 50% capacity, while there is no limit on the number of funeral attendees.
The order issued on Monday also said that all national parks and safaris will open as per regular schedule with online tickets provided visitors must be fully vaccinated. As per the order, the authorities controlling these activities should impose reasonable restrictions on the number of people allowed in such activities at any point of time in view of the COVID pandemic.

- Spas can operate at 50% capacity, subject to restrictions imposed for beauty salons and haircutting salons.
- Beaches, gardens, parks will remain open as per the timings prescribed by the local authorities. Amusement parks will also continue to operate with 50% capacity.
- Swimming pool, water park will remain open with 50% capacity.
- Restaurants, theaters will also remain operational.
- Bhajans and all other local, cultural and folk entertainment programs will be allowed with 50% capacity of the venue.
- Weddings can accommodate up to 25 per cent of the capacity of the open ground and banquet hall or 200, whichever is less.
- The government order further stated that the DDMA may take a decision regarding restrictions on movement of people during the night curfew hours from 11 pm to 5 am.
