It’s going to be moist, heat and humid on the Fourth of July, “less than ideal” climate for what is usually an outside vacation, one meteorologist mentioned.
“There’s going to be some times where you can barbecue outside, but it’s definitely not ideal,” Andrew Loconto, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, instructed the Herald.
The finest guess for out of doors exercise this vacation weekend is Saturday, when there will likely be much less cloud protection and drier temperatures within the mid-80s, Loconto mentioned.
After that, issues get a bit dicey, with a moist and humid stretch of days from Sunday to Tuesday.
Temperatures will likely be within the higher 70s to decrease 80s on Sunday, and within the higher 80s on Monday and Tuesday with nighttime lows within the higher 60s to low 70s.
The most rain will likely be seen from late Sunday into Monday, with a bit drier climate on the vacation itself, on Tuesday, Loconto mentioned.
“There’ll be several periods of rain, but there will also be times where it’s drier overall, too,” Loconto mentioned of Independence Day. “It’s more or less just like some scattered showers and storms to dodge, versus it being a total washout.”
