New Delhi: After the massive protest by the students, the Railways has postponed the NTPC and Level 1 exams. According to ANI, the Ministry of Railways has said that the Ministry of Railways has postponed the examinations of Non-Technical Popular Categories and Level 1 of Railway Recruitment Board in view of the protest of the students. A committee has been constituted to hear the grievances of the students on the examination. This committee will submit its report to the ministry.
According to media reports, students appearing in the non-technical popular category examination of the Railway Board protested at Patna and Ara railway stations over the alleged irregularities in the examination. After which the protest turned furious, during which the police also lathi-charged the crowd. Police also fired tear gas shells and used water cannons to disperse the students. In this case, the DM of Patna had said on Monday that the protesters stopped the train for about 5 hours. This is not the way to solve any issue. We will take action against the main culprits.

In fact, the students allege that the board has increased the cut off for the exam which affected many candidates. Candidates reported that more than 75 lakh candidates appeared for the exam but only 2.5 lakh candidates qualified for the next round level, most of whom are graduates instead of 10th and 12th pass.
