amgaon, The most Naxal-affected Deori and Saleksa tehsils of the state are included in the Amgaon assembly constituency. Where there is a long list of problems related to life. In which many issues are included including irrigation, electricity, convenient routes, health care, education, employment, but the issue of Kidangipar railway crossing located on the Amgaon-Gondia route of the Mumbai-Howrah rail route is probably the most serious and most inconvenient burning problem. . Due to which thousands of drivers have to suffer from trouble and mental trouble and thus it has become a huge headache for the drivers.
This road connecting Gondia headquarters is considered very busy. There is traffic of two wheelers and four wheelers here day and night. Every moment the traffic starts from here. Similarly, due to the Mumbai-Howrah major rail route of the railway, the operation of passenger and goods trains continues continuously. Due to the operation of trains, this Kidangipar railway crossing gets closed frequently.
Due to which a large number of vehicles queue up on both sides of the road. A large number of vehicles and passenger buses or Kali Peeli taxis ply on this route to reach Gondia district headquarters from Amgaon, Saleksa and Deori, but most of the time due to the closure of railway crossings, drivers have to wait for a long time.
Many times even ambulances get stuck in the jam here. Due to which, despite the opening of the road, they have to face difficulties in getting out from here. In view of the increasing day-to-day traffic on this busiest route, the demand for construction of an over bridge is being made for a long time. Despite being aware of the situation, MPs and MLAs have not been able to do anything till date and the railway administration has nothing to do with it. Due to this the problem remains as it is and has been a cause of great trouble and inconvenience to the public.
The most remarkable thing is that the gate is closed at the railway crossing during the movement of trains, after many drivers it is felt that the watchman of the railway gate deliberately closes the gate to disturb the drivers. Whereas it is not so and many times there is a lot of dispute between the drivers and the watchman regarding this. Complaints have also been registered regarding this. Looking at the present situation, it does not seem that there is no possibility of a solution to this problem in the coming few months or even years and the drivers will have to keep falling prey to such tragedy.
