Administration started preparations for prevention of corona in Pune, order to restart COVID Care Centers

Pune: The increasing speed of corona virus cases in Maharashtra has increased the tension. Due to rising corona cases in Pune, Maharashtra, the administration has issued an order to restart Shivneri Jumbo COVID Care Center and Avasari COVID Care Center from today.

According to the data released on Wednesday, 4,857 new COVID-19 cases and one death were reported in Pune district in the last 24 hours on Wednesday. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Tuesday extended the operations of its 800-bedded Jumbo Covid Hospital by three months.

The Pune district administration has issued prohibitory orders for 50 tourist places in its seven taluks due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases. The Pune Rural Police on Tuesday said that a group of five or more persons has been prohibited from entering a one kilometer radius of tourist places under Section 144.

At the same time, 46,723 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, which is 34,424 more than the cases reported a day earlier. 32 more patients died in this.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health in the state, 28,041 people have recovered and returned home in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of people infected with the new variant of Corona, Omicron, is also increasing continuously. In the last 24 hours, 86 new cases have been found in the entire state, after which the number of infected has now increased to 1367.
