The squad of the Social Security Department of the Crime Branch had received confidential information through an NGO that a couple in a flat located in Gittikhadan Friends Colony was doing prostitution to the girls by luring them for money. The police raided and arrested the couple and got a victim girl released from their possession.
The names of the arrested accused have been given as Amit Gautam Rao Jogi (39), resident of Kabir Bela Building, Friends Colony and his wife Swati Amit Jogi (32). The couple had taken flat 301 of the building on rent for prostitution. According to the information received, NGO Ashok Kumar informed PI Kavita Isarkar of the Crime Branch’s Social Security Department that in the Gittikhadan complex, a person named Amit Jogi, along with one of his female companions, got the minor girls to do prostitution in their own house. Used to be. On this information, the police first sent their punter as a customer.
After the deal was done, as the punter indicated, the police raided. The police arrested two accused from here, while the woman who was involved in prostitution was freed. During interrogation, the police came to know that the couple had taken this flat 6 months ago at a rent of Rs 7,500 per month. Since then both were doing prostitution here.
