Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 8413 projects worth Rs. Under the foundation stone laying and inauguration program, 4703 routes of 353 assembly constituencies, whose length is 8737 km, at a cost of Rs 5036 crore. and the foundation stone of 132 bridges has been laid under 79 assembly constituencies at a cost of Rs.1698 crore, in which 100 are minor bridges and 32 are long bridges. During this, works of 74 bridges and 3503 routes were also inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Maurya directed the departmental officers that all the projects inaugurated and the foundation stone should be installed within 3 days by organizing the function at the respective site and the participation of the local public representatives, officials and the regional public is mandatory. be ensured.
Monitoring system should be developed
Maurya said that for monitoring system of this work, a monitoring system should be developed at the Headquarters of Public Works Department and information should be made available immediately about the installation of the signboard. Appreciating the officers of Public Works Department, Setu Nigam and Rajkiya Nirman Nigam for the excellent and remarkable work done by the Public Works Department, the Deputy Chief Minister said that without roads, development seems incomplete, roads open new doors of development and in the state. Foundation stone laying and inauguration of several projects
1081 projects in 13 districts of Awadh region, 445 projects in 9 districts of Gorakhpur region, 365 projects in 10 districts of Kashi region, 699 projects in 14 districts of Kanpur and Bundelkhand region, 737 projects in 11 districts of Braj region, West 154 projects in 11 districts of the region were inaugurated and 620 projects in western region, 630 projects in Braj region, 696 projects in Kanpur and Bundelkhand region, 1045 projects in Avadh region, 851 projects in Gorakhpur region and 805 projects in Kashi region. Highlighting the work done by the Public Works Department during the tenure of the present government, Maurya said that on the basis of 2001 census, 1550 revenue villages have been connected with connectivity routes against the total targeted 1557 revenue villages with a population of more than 250. On the basis of Census 2011, out of the targeted 297 revenue villages with a population of more than 250, 173 revenue villages have been connected by road. 7 m More than 5 kms of wide routes. Out of 94 works of various departments costing more than Rs 50 crore, 46 works are approved, which are being done on EPC mode.
85 plastic routes built
Keshav Prasad Maurya said that 85 plastic roads have been constructed by consuming 103 tonnes of waste plastic. 33747 herbal plants were planted by selecting 175 routes as herbal routes. Under Dr. APJ Kalam Gaurav Path Yojna, 278 works were completed against 314 works out of 356 meritorious students’ villages. Under Major Dhyanchand Vijaypath Yojana, the works of construction and repair of roads to the residences/villages of 20 players of the state were done. Under the Jai Hind Veer Path scheme, road works have been done up to the villages of 17 martyrs. During the COVID period, food and ration materials were distributed in all the districts with the help of the department. The work of connecting the department with social concerns was done by the Public Works Department, with the help of officers and employees, by providing an amount of Rs 22-22 lakh to the families of the brave martyrs who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack.

Maurya said that Chaudhary Charan Singh Kanwar Path 100 km, Ayodhya 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg 250 km. and Ram Van Gaman Marg 122 kms. The works are under process.
