Nagpur. The incident that took place in Avandigaon under New Kamathi police station on Wednesday night has created a stir in the entire campus and people are in panic. Even after 24 hours of the incident, the police are thrashing their hands and feet in the air. So far no trace of the dacoits has been found. Due to this the citizens of the campus are in panic. About 1 km from the highway is the farm house of Yashpal Ishwardas Sharma (67). Here Sharma lives with his wife. The laborers working on the farm also live on the ground floor.
During 10 o’clock on Wednesday night, 8 masked men reached the gate of the farm with pistol, sword and knife in hand. From there he started abusing. At first no one came out, that’s why the dacoits opened fire. Hearing the sound, some workers came out of the house. Seeing the masked criminals armed with weapons, everyone panicked and went back inside and closed the door. After this the accused entered the compound by jumping. Tried to break the door by kicking. After creating a ruckus for about 5 minutes, the accused fled. While leaving, the dacoits took Sharma’s jeep no. Glasses of MH.31-G.3104 were also broken. Sharma informed the control room about the incident. New Kamathi police reached the spot.
Police has started investigation on the basis of CCTV cameras but all the dacoits had tied dupatta on their face. In such a situation, no one can be identified. Police is investigating in all directions. Sharma says that he has no enmity with anyone. In such a situation, it is surprising that a large number of armed dacoits attack the farm. Surely the accused must have entered the premises in vehicles. That is why the police is also checking the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the highway.
