new Delhi: The police have got a big success in the case of IED found in Delhi’s Ghazipur Flower Market last month. It is being told that the Delhi Police Special Cell has recovered the bike which was allegedly used to carry the IED. Recovering this bike can prove to be very important in solving the case.
According to ANI, the Special Cell of Delhi Police has recovered a stolen bike in 2020 parked in the parking lot of Dilshad Garden Metro Station. It is suspected that it was used to transport the IED recovered from Ghazipur flower market last month.

In fact, in January, there was a stir in Delhi’s Ghazipur Flower Market after a suspicious bag was found. The area was cordoned off after the suspicious bag was found. The fire department reached the spot and found a suspicious metal box in the market. Officers of the Special Cell of Delhi Police, Bomb Disposal Squad of NSG and fire brigade reached the spot after which the bag was seized. During investigation, it was found that the IED was present in the unclaimed bag.

The Delhi Police Special Cell had registered a case under the provisions of the Explosives Act and initiated further investigation. The IED was later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad of the National Security Guard. The incident took place on January 26 ahead of the Republic Day celebrations in the national capital. Security was beefed up in the city regarding the incident.
