Meanwhile, the ruling BJP state president in Bihar, Sanjay Jaiswal, while targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party JDU, said, “11 deaths have occurred due to spurious liquor in Nalanda district. The day before yesterday I was asked a question by JDU spokesperson on poisonous liquor. Today my question is with that party whether the entire family of these 11 people will be sent to jail because if someone goes and consoles them, then it is a crime for you.
He said, “If prohibition is to be implemented, then first of all, the big officer who gave false statement by the Nalanda administration should be arrested because the job of the administration is to run the district and not to give the reason of death to the people who died of poisonous liquor due to strange disease. ”
Jaiswal alleged, “It clearly shows that the administration itself is in cahoots with the liquor mafia and is working to hide their misdeeds. If the police personnel are questioned in a police manner about the liquor mafia who sells liquor at different places, then the name of that mafia will also come to the fore. Both the seller and the drinker must be punished. If this evil is to be eradicated from the root, then the trio of administration, police and mafia will have to be ended.
