Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will attend the virtual meeting of Quad (QUAD) leaders today amid the Russia-Ukraine war. The Indian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday that Prime Minister Modi will participate in a virtual meeting of the Quad Leaders with US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida today.
The leaders have the opportunity to continue their talks after the September 2021 summit in Washington DC, the statement said. They will discuss important developments in the Indo-Pacific. The Ministry of External Affairs said in a press release that the Quad leaders would exchange views and assessments about important developments in the Indo-Pacific region.

The Quad leaders will also review the ongoing efforts to implement the leaders’ initiatives announced as part of the Quad’s contemporary and positive agenda. The Quad Leaders held an in-person summit in Washington in September last year.
