Under this, now common people will also get a unique health ID, through which complete details of their health will be kept. PM Modi said that Ayushman Bharat – Digital Mission, will now connect digital health solutions of hospitals across the country with each other. Under this, the countrymen will now get a digital health ID. The health record of every citizen will be digitally protected.
Prime Minister Modi had on August 15 last year announced the pilot project of the National Digital Health Campaign from the ramparts of the Red Fort. At present the scheme is being implemented in six union territories in the initial phase. Its nationwide launch coincides with the third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya was also present on the occasion.

The campaign which is going on to strengthen the health facilities of the country in the last seven years is entering a new phase from today. A mission is beginning today, which has the power to revolutionize healthcare in India.

But health has a very strong relationship with tourism. Because when our health infrastructure is integrated, strengthened, it also affects the tourism sector. – 30 crore Aadhaar numbers, 118 crore mobile subscribers, about 80 crore internet users, about 43 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts, there is no such big connected infrastructure anywhere in the world. This digital infrastructure is taking the ration from the administration to the common Indian in a fast, transparent manner.
The Arogya Setu app helped a lot in preventing the spread of corona infection. Vaccine to everyone, under the free vaccine campaign, India has been able to apply about 90 crore vaccine doses today, so Co-WIN has a big role in it.
There has also been an unprecedented expansion of telemedicine during the Corona period. So far about 125 crore remote consultations have been completed through e-Sanjeevani. This facility is connecting thousands of countrymen living in far-flung areas of the country every day with doctors of big hospitals of cities while sitting at home.
– Ayushman Bharat- PM JAY has removed the great concern of the life of the poor. So far more than 2 crore countrymen have availed the facility of free treatment under this scheme. In this also half the beneficiaries are our mothers, sisters, daughters.
To improve health facilities in India, it is very important that the medical facilities available in the village should be improved. Primary health care centers are being empowered with health and welfare centres, 80 thousand such centers have already started.
