Anger among villagers due to non-fulfillment of demand
According to the villagers, the school building had become dilapidated since 2015. Not only this, the Gram Panchayat has found a way out by appointing 2 private teachers so that the number of teachers disseminating knowledge to the students is incomplete, so that there is no loss to the students in Sanwargaon of Tehsil. The school is being run by making a shed of letters at the given 2 hectares of the Gram Panchayat. There is no attention of public representatives, officers, education department towards Savargaon Zilla Parishad School of Tehsil and the demand of the villagers has not been fulfilled yet, due to which there is resentment towards the Gram Panchayat officer, the public representative and the officials among the villagers.
School running in Patre with the help of two private teachers
Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Hirabai Babaji Kushare, Deputy Sarpanch Popat Patil and Gram Panchayat members have given a memorandum to Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad, Zila Parishad Zilla Parishad’s Teaching Chairman Surekha Darade, Group Education Officer Keshav Tungar and have told their problem, while the building case is pending, There are only 5 teachers working for classes 1 to 7 and one of them is retiring next month. Also the post of headmaster with 2 graduate teachers is also vacant for many years. The Gram Panchayat has appointed 2 teachers so that there is no harm to the studies of the students. No matter how much the government may claim to be 100 percent literate, but if we look at the school in Savargaon, a frightening picture of education comes to the fore. Here this school needs a building and adequate teaching staff.
A letter shed has been built with the help of Gram Panchayat and villagers and a school has been started there. Giving priority to educational interest, government officials, public representatives should try to construct a building here and considering the educational interest of the children, an up to date building should be sanctioned for the school. Along with this, the entire teacher staff should also be appointed.
