Pimpri: In Pimpri-Chinchwad city, three lakh people have been infected with Corona in the last two years. During this, many citizens died of corona. The death of the head of the household shattered the family of many. A financial aid of Rs 50,000 was announced by the state government to help them. However, out of the applications received by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, 640 applications have been rejected. The administration claims that there are errors in the documents.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi government has decided to give 50 thousand rupees from the State Disaster Response Fund to the next of kin of the patients who died of corona.
The relatives of 6,059 dead patients had applied
Its application process started in December. The scheme is designed to deposit the assistance amount directly into the bank account of the beneficiary. Accordingly, the assistance amount will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s account. The relatives of the deceased patients wanted to apply online on the web portal developed by the state government. For this, the relatives of 6,059 dead patients had applied under the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. Of these, 640 applications were rejected.

The state government did not impose heavy conditions on relatives to get financial help. Surprisingly, however, such a large number of applications have been rejected. With this, the Aadhaar details of the deceased are matched with the Aadhaar numbers available with the Public Health Department for information on the death of corona. If the Aadhaar number matches then the application is automatically accepted on the computer system. However, if it does not, the applications are sent on computer certificate to the Medical Officer of the local self-governing body. Even if the online application made on the web portal is rejected, there will be a chance for improvement in it. whose applications have been rejected. Their applications are sent to the computer system of the Municipal Medical Officer. The Medical Officer reserves the right to edit these applications. Hence, there will be an opportunity to rectify the missed applications.
Formation of a five-member committee
When asked about this, the head of the Medical Department of the Municipal Corporation, Laxman Goffne said that 6059 applications have been received from the Municipal Corporation and rural areas. Of these, 640 applications have been rejected. Those whose applications are rejected will be called with the actual date. For this a five-member committee has been constituted. The administration is trying to ensure that no relative is deprived of this financial assistance.
