Gorakhpur: Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath said that the tradition of a festival like Holi connects us with the past. Just as Holika or Hiranyakashipu make their presence felt in the society in some form or the other, similarly devotees Prahlad and Lord Narasimha also live as symbols of good over evil. Festivals like Holi inspire us to walk on a good path. This festival of colors is a reflection of an egalitarian society.
CM Yogi was addressing a huge gathering on the occasion of a colorful procession coming out of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Shri Holikotsav Samiti from Ghantaghar on the holy festival of Holi on Sunday. Greeting and wishing all the citizens a very happy Holi, the Chief Minister said that the festival of Holi is the hallmark of our heritage of thousands of years. This prompts us to make earnest efforts in a spirit of collectivism, no matter how difficult the challenge. If we can do this, then we definitely get Vijayashree. We should always follow the challenging path with a sattvik and positive spirit. The CM said that all of you have emerged victorious under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the challenging elections of Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister said that people have chosen nationalism, good governance and development in the recently concluded festival of democracy before the festival of colours. With the result of UP, there is enthusiasm and enthusiasm in the mind of every person who wants to fight against injustice, atrocities, anarchy and disorder.

After congratulating the people on Holi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the aarti of Lord Vishnu with the law. Offered him coconut, gujiya along with colour, abir, gulal. After worshiping Lord Narasimha, the yogi got into a completely holiana mood. He fiercely blew colors, abir, gulal and rose petals on the people.
