Akola. The government has started registration on the e-labor portal to create a database of unorganized workers. In order to expedite the registration process, every government department should organize camps and register the unorganized workers on the e-labor portal, these instructions have been given by the District Magistrate Neema Arora.
A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee was held to expedite the process of registration of unorganized workers. In this meeting, Assistant Workers Commissioner Raju Gulhane, Government Workers Officer Gaurav Nalinde, Shop Inspector Vinod Joshi, District Informatics Center District Coordinator Anil Chinchole, Women and Child Development Officer Vilas Marsale, District Health Officer Representative Dr. Sunil Mankar, Integrated Tribal Development Project representative S.N. Mopley, Kreuba’s administrator KG. Representatives of various departments including Solanke were present.
Register unorganized workers in fixed period
During this, District Magistrate Neema Arora told that every government department should organize camps within a certain period and register unorganized workers. Under the Amrit Mahotsav program, speed up the process of registration of unorganized workers by organizing special camps at the local level through citizen facilitation centers. The District Magistrate has directed to take action against the concerned businessmen under the Prevention of Child Labor Act if child laborers are found in places like brick kilns, hotels, construction.
Unorganized workers register themselves on the e-shram portal, at the citizen facilitation center, at the facilitation center or on the website eshram.gov.in. ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION
Workers in the age group of 16 to 59 years working in the unorganized sector should not be income tax payers, they should not be members of Employees Provident Fund and Employees State Insurance Scheme, unorganized workers should be from 300 industries prescribed by the government.
